Lens of Mysuru Photo Contest – Yoga & Heritage is a special public photography initiative presented as part of the Mysuru Yoga Utsava 2025. This unique open contest invites photography enthusiasts, yoga practitioners, participants, and the general public to explore the visual harmony between Yoga, Culture, and Heritage—three pillars that define the timeless spirit of Mysuru.

Set to take place at JCAC Mysuru from 18 to 21 December 2025, the contest celebrates creativity and storytelling through the lens. Participants are encouraged to capture moments that reflect Mysuru’s serene yoga culture, historic beauty, heritage architecture, vibrant community, and the soulful blend of tradition and wellness that the city is globally recognised for.

The theme “Yoga & Heritage” allows photographers to creatively interpret the union between the physical, spiritual, and cultural landscapes. Whether it’s a yoga posture performed against a sunrise-lit palace backdrop, candid moments from Mysuru’s yoga community, or artistic representations of yogic philosophy, the contest encourages entries that honour both the physical discipline and the cultural heritage of the region.

The contest is open to everyone — professionals, hobbyists, students, or anyone who loves photography. The aim is to provide a platform for public expression while promoting Mysuru as a center for yoga, heritage tourism, and creative arts.

The last date for submission is 5 December 2025, allowing participants ample time to conceptualise, create, and submit their entries. Selected winning photographs will be proudly displayed at the Mysuru Yoga Utsava Gallery during the event dates, giving photographers a prestigious stage to showcase their talent to thousands of visitors, participants, and yoga enthusiasts.
