Discover the Unique Human Face Museum at AIISH Campus, Mysuru
Mysuru is about to unveil a truly unique attraction at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) campus—a museum shaped like a human face! This extraordinary museum aims to educate visitors about vocal and auditory functions, associated disorders, and preventive measures in a captivating and immersive way.
A One-of-a-Kind Experience
Step into a giant human head at the AIISH Museum and embark on a fascinating journey through the complexities of speech production and auditory processing. Although the museum’s launch has faced slight delays, excitement continues to build as the completion nears.
An Educational Adventure
Your adventure begins in the basement, representing the neck of a human being. The museum’s design features three floors with mezzanines, each dedicated to interactive displays that simulate the brain, lungs, larynx, and oral tract. This unique setup allows visitors to explore how speech is produced and how language is processed.
Explore the Ear System
The exploration doesn’t end there! The museum also offers an immersive experience of the ear system. Visitors can traverse through different parts of the ear and follow the pathway to the brain, learning about the processes of hearing and understanding.
Interactive Learning
One of the museum’s highlights is its interactive sensors. The floor is equipped with sensors linked to the central nervous system through various cranial nerves. Touching a sensor lights up a path illustrating the nerve’s route. Additionally, an audio-visual display on the ceiling will explain brain functions, making the learning experience both dynamic and engaging.
A Must-Visit Destination
The Human Face Museum at AIISH is poised to become a premier destination for educational tours and a major tourist attraction in Mysuru. Combining education with entertainment, it will make complex scientific concepts accessible and intriguing for all visitors.
