On April 5, 2025, BEML Ltd. proudly launched the BG 1205 Motor Grader from its state-of-the-art Mysuru facility. The event was flagged off by Shri Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director of BEML Ltd., alongside Shri Harish Duhan, CMD of South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. (SECL). The presence of functional directors and senior officers added to the momentous occasion.
Engineered for India’s Mining Sector
The BG 1205 is a result of indigenous innovation, aligning with the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision. Built specifically to meet the growing demands of the mining sector, the grader is equipped with a massive 24-foot blade, tailored to handle the rigorous needs of high-capacity dumpers and heavy road-laying operations.
Its primary deployment areas include SECL in Bilaspur and NCL in Singrauli, regions known for intense mining activity. The machine has been developed to deliver superior performance, operational efficiency, and long-term durability in the toughest conditions.
